So you can also manually shorten folder name while using cd command. Have you noted that the ‘LIONKI~1’ contains exactly 8 characters. Create a backup directory on your DOS system to hold the Step-Up files (this is useful if you want to reinstall DOS - you can the reinstall Step-Up without copying everything via diskettes again): mkdir c:backup.
